Being one of the FTA originals has always made Slick Rick a legend. In 2004, he carried that FTA legacy into the newly rising WFA and challenged the WFA World Champion Sinister to a company versus company match up. From that point on Slick Rick became a target in WFA, receiving anonymous phone calls telling him that WFA superstars were going to come after him and that he wasn’t safe as long as he wrestled with WFA.

Not backing down from a challenge, Slick Rick stayed in WFA and eventually won the WFA World Title to solidify his legend status. He returned again the next year hoping to make Slick Rick a household name, but his career in 2005 was short lived.

However, in 2006 Slick Rick made a daring return to WFA alongside his long time friend Oz and claimed that together they would take out everyone in WFA. Rick and Oz did not last long as a team however and their BCW legacy was short lived. Once again, Slick Rick had disappeared from the scene but managed to keep everyone on their toes wondering who he was coming after next.
