Where Do We Wrestle?

We are located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn on 65th and 3rd Avenue. You can take either the N or the R train to 59th Street station. Sunset Park has become a second home to us as well as a place to showcase our wrestling skills. We are nearby a 7 Eleven so if you ever need to cool down for a drink or something to eat you can at our events.

Why Do We Wrestle?

We wrestle because we love to wrestle. We have all been inspired by great wrestling companies such as WWE, TNA, ROH, etc. We were also inspired by our own wrestling family known as FTA. We do it because we wish to carry on the legacy of backyard wrestling in Brooklyn. All of us have come together to do what we feel needs to be done to honor good backyard wrestling. And WFA has allowed us to do what we love to watch, and even more do what we hope to do in the future.

When Do We Wrestle?

WFA can usually be found almost every Saturday of the summer. Our official season begins around the end of May, and ends around the beginning of September. During the winter, WFA puts its wrestling on a halt and develops storylines, and gimmicks for our own wrestlers so when summer time comes, we can put on a show we know the fans will enjoy watching. We try to get the shows started as early as 2:00 P.M. and usually end at around 5:00 P.M.

How We Wrestle?

As stupid as this question may seem, it needs to be answered. What separates WFA from all the other backyard wrestling federations is skill from stupidity. Here in WFA, we are not out to physically hurt one another, we are here to put on a good show. And to us, a good show consists of enticing storylines, genuine wrestling, and charismatic characters. You will never see WFA Wrestlers beating one another with dangerous weapons. Although WFA does like to have weapon gimmick matches, we know how to conserve our hardcore ability and use it to showcase talent more than endurance of pain.

Who Do We Wrestle?

In WFA, you will mainly see matches between our own wrestlers. However often, there are times where we have inter-promotional events featuring wrestlers from other local backyard wrestling federations. WFA is selective of who we let into our federation, and you need to have some type of talent in order to maintain a stable run here in WFA.
